Sanjay Ubale began his career with the Reserve Bank of India before joining the Indian Administrative Service, where he served as Secretary to the Government of Maharashtra, contributing to Mumbai’s infrastructure and development. He also held leadership roles in the Government and actively collaborated with various multilateral and bilateral agencies.

He subsequently spent nearly a decade as Managing Director and CEO of Tata Realty and Infrastructure, later heading Infrastructure and Urban Solutions at Tata Sons. During this period, the Company won several infrastructure projects offered on PPP mode, including Pune Metro Line 3 and the Dharamshala–McLeodganj ropeway.

He later joined the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as Director. He continues to contribute through institutions including Noida International Airport and Interise Investment Trust. An alumnus of the University of Mumbai, JB Institute of Management Studies, the University of Bath and Harvard Business School, he is a strong advocate of prioritising public modes of transport over private modes, and champions environmental sustainability and inclusive growth.

John is a technology start-up and turnaround CEO with engineering experience across mobility, aerospace, medical devices and renewable energy. His technical work includes mechanical design and simulation, quality management and automated systems.

He has a record of selling ambitious projects to investors and partners, organising teams through difficulty, and turning around struggling companies. He led a team that developed a breakthrough transportation technology, securing more than $200 million in funding and forging global partnerships, and founded a company that developed a wind-turbine generator through a 65 kW prototype.

Rajesh has worked in consulting, product, marketing, business development and sales across regions. He treats himself as an entrepreneur first — from Fortune 100 companies to bootstrapped start-ups — with experience of capital raising, growth, culture, exits and transitions.

He looks for large, durable businesses whose models have to keep changing. That is the lens he brings to FlywayRapid’s funding and corporate strategy.

Chhavi is an award-winning planner and designer of large sites. She has master-planned and designed built area for projects of more than a hundred acres, including universities and mixed-use townships.

Trained in architecture and urban design, she has more than 18 years of practice. As a Principal at Perkins Eastman she helped establish the firm’s presence in India and has delivered large institutional and mixed-use developments. She integrates sustainability closely in her work, speaks internationally, and is active with academia and mentoring. She has taken part in the World Urban Forum, Local Projects Challenge and the World Congress of Architects in support of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. She is an associate member of the Indian Institute of Architects, the Institute of Urban Designers in India, and the Urban Land Institute.
