For over a hundred years, these two modes of transport have remained two different categories of transport. While they co-existed in the same space in cities, they were mostly independent of each other. Their users, suppliers, designers, planners and their whole ecosystems rarely integrate with each other. We break that barrier.

In essence, we combine two parallel, separate industries into one. We combine automobile engineering with transit engineering. Furthermore, we apply our own proprietary secret sauce to it.

By doing that we gain the advantages of both, we do away with disadvantages of both, and most importantly, we create new unprecedented advantages that do not yet exist in transportation.

Flyway Rapid technology is based on the architecture of Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) systems, but because of our own secret sauce, which includes hundreds of big and small optimizations and enhancements at the product and technology level, we deliver exceptional value.

Flyway Rapid is a confluence of multiple diverse disciplines of engineering: Civil, electrical, mechanical, automobile, electronics, software, including AI and safety engineering.

Flyway Rapid has a network shape. It can spread out line a grid to cover an entire area, from a small, premium locality, to an airport, a Special Economic Zone, an entire city or even an entire state. A passenger can go from his station to any destination directly, without any timetable, without stopping at stations along the way, on a path customized specially for him in real time and without changing from one vehicle to another.

The uniqueness of this grid design is that all stations are interconnected with all others. Two types of networks are possible. The diagram on the right shows a unidirectional network. Unidirectional network is lower in cost and is suitable for low density settlements. The other type of network is bidirectional, where there are two lines in opposite directions together. A bidirectional network is suitable for high population density areas. Furthermore, the two types of networks can transition into each other in different areas of coverage. Therefore, in parts with high demand, you can have a bidirectional network, and in an adjacent part where demand is relatively lower, the bidirectional network will transition to a unidirectional network.

                FLYWAY MOTOR

As part of our efforts to enhance efficiencies, we have developed our own unique motor design that increases the drive efficiency by 20%. Flyway motor is a special adaptation of PMSM (Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) motor. This motor has applications not only in Flyway Rapid but also in conventional electric vehicles.

Flyway motor combines the advantages of hub motors with those of regular BLDC/PMSM motors. They provide direct drive in a way similar to hub motors, but they also do away with their disadvantages. While being more efficient, Flyway motors cost lesser too.

Flyway Rapid benefits from our more efficient motor, but it has many other optimizations too that enhance performance and efficiency.
